South Africa has recorded 1 897 new Covid-19 cases and a further 48 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of infections to 712 412 coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic. What has created concern thought is the recording of 4,000 new Covid-19 cases in two days Medical experts and government officials have raised concerns about the possibility of a second wave of coronavirus cases in South Africa.
