It is fabric over chipboard on both the outside and inside. Meg has 5 sewn in signatures using a 5 hole pamphlet stitch. There are approx 140 pages counting fronts and backs. The journal contains tea stained, vintage and newer book pages and scrapbook papers. There are some handmade and vintage ephemera pieces.
