It is so hot here on this final weekend of August 2020. Heat indices between 100-110. So why not go back to the coldest period I can remember? Footage from The Weather Channel early on Christmas eve 1989. Much of the country was experiencing frigid cold, including record lows and a bit of snow in the deep south. Features on-camera meteorologist Mike Bono and Patrick Core, who was at the time in the apprentice program at the network.
