Valkyrie Crusade: Elite Tower with Full Sea Symbol Teams and No Unleashers

So, finally a video for elite difficulty in tower which was introduced in May along with the symbol system. (Yes, I’m late. I’ve just been too tired to make one before since tower runs alongside ABB. :-P) In elite, servants have 200 million hp and cards with the correct symbol are necessary to deal adequate damage. Even XLRs with the correct symbol will not hit for the max of 60 million unless they also have elemental advantage or the enemies’ defense has been debuffed. While it is still possible to clear with just aoe turnskippers as damage dealers, this will often take 2 KO Chances, making aoe multihits and multihits much better options. During this tower, a symbol boost was added. Similar to the existing element boost, it gives an extra 5% points for 1 team of all sea cards, 10% for 2 teams, 20% for 3 teams, and 50% for 4 full sea teams. Since I lacked any passion sea multihits or aoe multihits, I opted to use full symbol teams with mixed elements rather than full passion teams for a 50% boost. (While I could have made working full passion teams since I did have several passion sea aoe turnskippers, it would have taken a lot more time to clear.) Using full sea symbol teams also made omitting unleashers a necessity because none of my unleashers had sea symbols. I also made a second set of teams to use for rune bosses since only 1 team is needed to beat it. I shifted all my passion sea cards to the last 2 teams so I could get an extra 10% elemental boost for a total points boost of 60%. Ironically, the mixed element teams have turned out to be more stable than the matching element teams I used the previous 2 towers. With 5 sea symbols on a team, each attack adds 20 to the ultimate gauge. So, the gauge fills in only 5 hits and it’s much easier to save a fight with no turnskip proc at the beginning by using the ultimate skill. And with a beach themed sea symbol tower, “By the Sea” seemed like a fitting song choice. :-P Music: “By the Sea” sung by Angela Lansbury and Len Cariou from the original Broadway cast recording of “Sweeney Todd”
