The World of the Married is a 2020 South Korean television series starring Kim Hee-ae, Park Hae-joon, and Han So-hee. It tells a story of a married couple whose betrayal of one another leads to a whirlwind of revenge, grief, forgiveness and healing. The series is based on BBC One's drama series Doctor Foster, starring Suranne Jones in the title role. It aired on JTBC on Fridays and Saturdays at 22:50 (KST) from March 27 to May 16, 2020. The series is now airing in the Philippines under the title The World of a Married Couple at a primetime slot of 8:45 p.m. beginning June 15, 2020 on the Kapamilya Channel, a cable and satellite channel. The series was originally planned to air on ABS-CBN on but due to the cease and desist order issued to ABS-CBN, the series will air first on Kapamilya Channel.
