Faux Locs: CROCHET BOB
In this video, I'll be installing Crochet Extension. Its Natural, easy to maintain, Summer-time friendly, and a great protective style for your hair growth journey!
You will see her 4 yr Hair Journey with my consistent protective styling(full sew ins, wigs, & crochet)
The install was less than 3 hrs faux locs including the bobcut ☝🏾😜
👍🏾🗣
Pros ☺️👍🏾:
• low maintenance
• can be worn for 2-3 months (professionally recommend 2 mths)
• versatile
• easy install (DIY-able)
• water friendly (dries quick)
• can be cut (professionally)
• naturally blends with most curly patterns
• Can be worn no matter the season
Cons 😅👎🏾:
• It's Synthetic (no hot tools can be used)
• I only recommend 2 consist crochet installs(4 month)Since it can be heavy for scalp or fine color -treated hair.
• Cannot be dyed.
• Can be excessive for anyone used to Bonytails(thin ponytails) or nothing on your head.
• Absorbs oils so you may need to moisture your braids here &there.
• Traps products, sweat, and dirt so you should wash it 1-2 times per month.

As we admire my client’s hair,
Along with old pictures and videos of previous length, fullness, and texture checks.I want to say...
All hair journeys are beautiful❗️
All hair journeys have their pros and cons❗️
All hair journeys require effort, patience, and time❗️
I recommend giving 6 months- 1 year to your stylist for results from CONSIST protective style services.
Especially after any scalp trauma or texture alternating chemicals such as traction alopecia or relaxers❗️
Have a safe quarantine and HAPPY PRIDE MONTH 🌈
