Toyota Fortuner is a mid-size SUV body on frame. The Fortuner is built on the Hilux pickup truck platform (Toyota IMV platform). this generation is a "Second generation" which starting in 2015 to present.
the Fortuner features the "Keen Look" design language that has already been used on the Toyota Corolla (E170) with slim projector headlights and LED daytime running lights. But this time, Fortuner stopped sharing the interior design with the Hilux to give a distinct character between the two.
Both the Fortuner and Hilux share the transmission and engine together with two new diesel engines (1GD-FTV 2.8Litre and 2GD-FTV 2.4Litre). The 2.7-litre and 4.0-litre petrol engines were updated with Dual VVT-i. The second generation Fortuner features a part-time 4WD system instead of the full-time 4WD system used in the previous generation. This particular car is a 2.4Litre Diesel 2WD, so it come with 150 PS and 400 N-m torque mated to 6-speed automatic transmission
