The 110th meeting of "Urihum and Yoga," a charity gathering for yoga practitioners that has been held for 12 years, was held on the afternoon of February 22, 2020, at the Cheongdam branch of "Tau Yoga" in Seoul. The 110th regular event of "Urihum and Yoga" brought together yoga leaders who practice sharing and yogis who want to experience a variety of yoga styles.
The approximately 20 participants experienced "Tau Flow" using energy direction, led by Tau Yoga instructor Amy.
"Tau Flow" is a new style that maximizes the use of various angles of the body. It involves modifying a single asana into unique balance poses, deep stretching, and precise alignment to help strengthen the muscles and joints.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to "Hope Bridge," which will help rebuild schools damaged by the Nepal earthquake.
Park Mira, the director of Ansan's Woori Yoga and chair of the "Woorihum and Yoga" and "Woori Global Mala" initiatives, said, "Currently, we have rebuilt two classrooms at Mahendrini School in Tanahun County in April 2017, and two classrooms at Shri Amar Jyoti Primary School in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal in May 2018. This allows hundreds of students who previously studied outdoors to return to a comfortable classroom environment." She added, "We are continuing to prepare to gift two classrooms to each school."
