It is demolishing a bridge over the motorway A3 near Kockelscheuer in Luxemburg. It is working with the also brand new Arden Equipmen CU 031 multi shear with CB concrete jaw. (http://www.arden-equipment.com) The Arden Equipment CU 031 multi-shear with CB concrete shear has an operational weight of 3.020 kg. and is the perfect match and combination with the new Liebherr R946 demolition excavator. The Arden Equipment CU 031 multi-shear can also be fitted with other jaws for other types of demolition. Like an universal jaw, crushing jaw or steel jaw. Thanks to the 2 cilinders the CU 031 with CB concrete jaw, it has an huge cutting force of 108 ton! The maximum opening is 950 mm. Changing of jaws of the CU 031 multi-shear can be done very quick and easy. There are special transport frames for as well the body of the CU 031 and also jaws available. As option there is a choice for cilinders with speed valve and powerbooster as also standard hydraulic cilinder. Cilinders with speedvalve results in faster cycle times for closing and opening of the shear. Also can be choosen for the Arden Jet dust suppression system on the shear. So nozzles spraying water under high pressure and reduce the dust on the demolition project.
