The law does not protect women in time or at all from rape in many countries. Education whether formal or informal is what we need to protect ourselves and children (boys and girls) from this menace that happens in slums and even in wealthy homes. We need to educate our boys especially and bring them up to be gentlemen. Many women are accomplices to rape and keep secrets especially in families. We must educate and empower our girls with knowledge and self-defence classes if necessary.
Women need to protect themselves from untrained men who rape and abuse; and men need to be disciplined enough to keep their penises in their trousers otherwise the special package will work on them.
This will save us all a lot of pain and even grief as the terrible evil occurrences seem to be rising on a daily basis.
