In this guitar lesson Jim Mesi showed me how he played his 2nd lead verses for "Six Days on the Road", and American song which was written by Earl Green and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio songwriter Carl Montgomery and made famous by Country music singer Dave Dudley with his 1963 US Billboard hit recording. Jim was playing an Italia Maranello guitar, Sparkle Red, plugged into his trusty orange Fender Blues Junior amplifier. Unfortunately Jim passed away in March of 2019 but his music lives on.
