Libya: LNA hits Mitiga airport in Tripoli

Mitiga airport was attacked by Haftar's LNA forces yesterday. Dozens of rockets and artillery shells were fired at Mitiga airport in Tripoli leaving one commercial airline damaged and several fuel tanks on fire. Turkey backed GNA earlier claimed to make the security of Mitiga airport foolproof by deploying Turkish Korkut anti aircraft guns, Hisar and Hawk air defense systems at the airport but these rockets and artillery shells penetrated the security layers put in place by Turkey backed GNA forces at Mitiga airport in Tripoli Libya. #MyViewsonNews For inquiries: [email protected]
