I try my best at recreating some wonderful images from The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, cinematography by Roger Deakins. These recreations were inspired by Lawrence Sher and Shotdeck. Shotdeck.com is an awesome resource for any filmmaker. I made the recreations even more challenging for myself by choosing to use a DIY "poor man's" Deakinizer Lens and show you how you can make your own!
