Part 2 of my #DriveTheWorld movie focuses on the 'fly-away' leg of my epic 2019 adventure.
Due to the fact we were trying to complete the whole trip within 12 months and had budget limitations, we couldn't literally drive my Porsche 911 Carrera T around the world, so instead I identified the places I thought content opportunities would be the greatest and car culture would be most prevalent. If we couldn't drive to those places because of time or money, we would fly in and out and borrow local cars.
At the end of Part 1, we were leaving New Zealand, in the next 4 weeks, we travelled through 7 countries, staying in over 20 different hotel beds and driving another 5,000kms. Our stops included Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Delhi and Cape Town. The cars we ended up filming in each location were crazy!
