War Path: I/9 Flow Tactic Saving Magik for Mojo Boss and Quake for later fights, using Guilly for most of the early fights. King Groot: Guilly’s heavy doesn’t really have a far reach, so I’ve got to pin myself against the wall to reduce the distance and strike my heavy. Got clipped trying to get out of the corner... other than that it was a smooth fight. KingPin: Same strategy, only downside is you may take some block damage baiting out opponent’s heavies. Activated life steal to negate some block damage. Smooth fight, was able to get out of the corner untouched. Hidden Node: Thought it was going to be an Annihilus since he’s common there, turned out to be a 6* Electro, caught me by surprise. Was taking mad shock damage throughout the fight... luckily Guilly’s regen ability saved me. Opponent has willpower so towards the end I had to parry him a couple of times just so he’s got enough health for me to get to my sp3. Heimdall Mini: Went with Quake as I was fairly confident with the solo. Emma Frost: Took a risk with Guilly, messed up on an sp1 evade and it almost KO’d Guilly... close fight but got the job done. Annihilus: One of the smoother fights using Quake on the inverted control node. Came out without a scratch. KM: Healed up Guilly as I wasn’t sure how much damage I’ll be taking in this fight. Activated life steal to help negate the degen damage just by a little bit... fight went a lot better than I thought. KM was willing to throw all his specials, I tried to stick close to him to keep up the regen. He went down without a problem. Warlock Mini: Threw on an invulnerability boost just in case and boy was I glad I did that... slipped up and accidentally dropped a heavy which happened to be a crit... Warlock started gaining power from flow, he got to an sp1, I was trying to throw my heavy and get myself off the wall to bait out the special but I mistimed the heavy and he intercepted me with his sp1, the invulnerability boost saved me... got very lucky there, it could’ve been a lot worse. GG Mini: Dropped my heavy a couple times but since GG isn’t a control champ there’s no issue there. Although I still have to work on not dropping my heavies. GG went down without any issue. Doom Mini: Lots of practice against Doom in AQ, smooth solo. Mojo Boss: Put on all the big boi boosts along with advanced power boost to help get to Magik’s sp2 faster. Fight went really well up until the last ~30% where Mojo stood there and waited for me to dash towards him and intercepted my intercept. Took a full 5 hit combo, blocked immediately after and Mojo threw a heavy, I dashed back and tried to go in to punish his heavy but he had enough time to dex my attack and intercept me back. I’m at 15% health and his degen KO’d me... Went in with Guilly and mistimed the evade on his sp2... Went with Guilly again but his degen was just too strong... Healed up Magik, accidentally pushed Mojo to sp3... Quake finished the fight with a 7 hit combo... The war was going well for me up until the Mojo Boss... extremely disappointed at my sloppy performance towards the end, looks like I got very frustrated with myself and impatient. Definitely paid the price for it. I apologize to my alliance for such an awful performance. But I am determined to keep practicing and keep my cool to prepare for the next Mojo Boss. I’m going to master him.
