No. 12 Saint John's basketball’s 77-62 home win over St. Thomas on Jan. 20, 2018, in front of a capacity crowd in Sexton Arena. The victory was the Johnnies’ 12th consecutive (within the eventual 16-game win streak). The Johnnies clinched a share of the MIAC regular-season title, their first since 2001, nearly three weeks later (Feb. 7) and won the title outright three days after that (Feb. 10).
