I've been looking forward to this one and am so happy to have the opportunity to join in. Also, I like doing these auditions because even if I don't make it through, I'm always challenged to learn something new. I never had a reason to learn how to make a portal before now and it was pretty cool.
Little bit about the video:
- Lyn lives with her younger sister and their maternal grandfather.
- Lyn has been working at the diner after dropping out of school the year before.
- During the argument with her grandfather, neither one notices the glowing eyes. The glow is just there to represent Lyn's growing magic beneath the surface.
- When Lyn is distant from her friends, it's her feeling sad and envious of their freedom.
- Lyn's mother was a non-magical woman and her father was from a magical legacy family. Lyn knows nothing of her father's side due to a falling out before she was born. Both parents died shortly after Katrina's birth.
- Because her father kept his family history a secret, stories of magic were played off as fairytales.
