This is the most complete RLCraft 2.8.2 beginners guide that you'll probably find, it's 30 minutes of non-stop information, explained as quickly and straight-to-the-point as possible. I've forgotten some important stuff but I've added it here in the description so give it a look.
Now that RLCraft 2.9 is out there's a ton of new useful things that I'll make sure to cover in a later video, but some things have also changed -- for the most part everything related to lycanites mobs (primarily summoning and taming)

Honorable Mentions (I forgot / video was too long)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Equipment Forge I cover it in more detail in this dedicated video https://youtu.be/R-Py9yy2rWU
- Grave scrolls, Recall potions, and Warp scrolls, I don't know how I managed to forget mentioning these, they're extremely useful.
Grave Scroll = teleports you to your last death
Recall potions = teleports you to your last checkpoint
Warp scroll = teleports you to a waystone of your choosing
- Barrels/crates are better than chests (needs a carpenter's crafting bench you can see me build one in my RLCraft series (Episode 4 https://youtu.be/Bcq-AvVj08k).
- Saws convert logs to planks or sticks instantly (based on where you place it in the crafting menu).
- Power Foods (ultimately leading to the battle burrito, very useful)
- Quiver (store arrows)
- Sleeping bag (use it to skip dangerous nights and heal while you're on the move)
- Experience tomes can store your xp (if you like YOLO-ing stuff like me you might want to use one to avoid losing all your levels in case you die)
- Craft potion rings as "bauble placeholders" (they give decent buffs and are better than nothing if you don't have any baubles yet - you can do the same with belts and amulets)
-Nunchucks, you can have them auto-attack while blocking with a shield, essentially making you immune to most damage while still dishing out damage (suggested by Chase K)
