Welcome to Connections Season 4: Friendship! This is a Reddit Recorded Round organized by 4EyedSlime and xRosss, which focuses on how people connect, bond, and interact with each other through different emotions and aspects of life.
For this season, we will be focusing on the aspect of Friendship and how people attempt to stay connected to their closest friends throughout their lives. The gamemode for this season is called “Unbalanced Friendship,” and we also used Soul Brothers and Team Health. This season was chosen teams of 2, with no nether!
Unbalanced Friendship: When you and your teammate’s health is not the same, the player with the lower health will get a certain debuff, while the player with the higher health will get a buff. After your teammate dies, you lose all effects and gain 2 permanent hearts.
- Health from 1-10% difference is Hunger and Saturation
- Health from 11-20% difference is Speed and Slowness
- Health from 21-50% difference is Weakness and Strength
- Health from 51-99% difference is Mining fatigue and Resistance
Soul Brothers: The game would be played in teams of 2. Before the game, 3 worlds would have to be prepared, with 2 having the same seed, and one having a different seed(nether will be off).
- One teammate is scattered in one world and the other one in a different world(with different starting positions). They can tell each other where the ores could be found, where's a mineshaft etc. Obviously, they can die during this period to pvp/pve.
- After episode 4, all players would be rescattered in the 3rd world (as a team, now reunited) and game would progress normally.
