AMCA 2019 National Championship

 

On January 12-13, 2019, undergraduate moot court teams from across the country competed in the American Moot Court Association National Tournament, hosted by Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law in Orlando, Florida. Olympus State University, Respondent Questions Presented: (1) Whether Respondent’s admissions policy, which gives preferential weight to male applicants, violates the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. (2) Whether Respondent violated Petitioner’s right to freedom of expression under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, as applied to the states through the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.
