In early 2020, Amtrak hammered the Texas Eagle with Heritage Units with some ending up on the Heartland Flyer. Every heritage unit except 145 made a visit to the Texas Eagle. 130 and 156 were both on the Heartland Flyer 2 different times and 822 was being led by a UP locomotive.
