Finding a thrift store or flea market buys for killer prices is not just totally feasible but definitely a fun way to make money! This shopping-driven side hustle is as simple as buying a good, quality item for a great price, relisting it online, and making a nice profit once it sells! You can sell your items online through a site like eBay or Amazon, or you could even get started selling through Craigslist to keep start-up costs down.

#2 Investing Our Money
We aggressively put our money to work in the stock market. Even back when we were in college we started playing around with investing. We know own multiple investment accounts that have exceeded well over $100,000. Our go-to investment broker is Vanguard and their low-cost index funds. Specifically VTSAX. If you are just getting started with investments are a little nervous we recommend Betterment or Robinhood.

#3 Display Ads
We made more than $50,000 last year with display ads on our site The Savvy Couple. This is an extremely passive stream of income for us. As longs as we continue to drive traffic to our site we will continue to make income via display ads. These are ads you see in the header, sidebar, in context, footer, etc. of a website. Each impression or click you get on those ads from your readers you get paid a small amount. In order to make a great amount of money with display ads you are going to need a boatload of traffic. We’re talking hundreds of thousands of page views for a couple of thousand dollars a month. You have a few options for getting started with display ads on your site. You can start with Google Adsense, but we don’t recommend it since they pay so terribly. I would recommend waiting to join Monometric, Mediavine, or AdThrive. These are premium ad networks where you will get paid much better.
#4 Affiliate Marketing
More difficult than ads but another incredible way to start making money with your blog quickly. Affiliate marketing is when you partner with a brand, company, a product that you either personally use or your audience would find value in.You promote a product or service through blog posts, social media, or YouTube and get paid every time someone either purchases or converts (sign-up). Payouts can range anywhere from $0.25 up to hundreds of dollars depending on the product or service you are promoting.

#5 Services and Coaching
A very easy way to make extra money online is by offering your skills as a service or coaching others. We were able to use our writing skills to freelance and get paid to write articles for big publications. We also offered blog coaching to a select few people and were able to chare a very high hourly rate of $200 to $250 per hour.
#6 Sponsorships
By far our favorite way to make money blogging. And by far we found the most success with this income stream last year. We have had months where we have landed multiple five-figure sponsorship deals. You can think of a sponsorship like Nike and Lebron James. Lebron is an ambassador of Nike. When you partner with a brand/company on a sponsorship you are essentially doing the same thing. Some call this influencer marketing. Once you have an audience built up and have gained their trust they are much more likely to trust you. Some brands see this as a gold mine.

#7 Creating Products and Courses to Sell
One of the most profitable ways to make money blogging is by selling your own digital products and services. Things like eBooks, printables, courses, worksheets, binders, etc. can all be created and sold to your readers.
