Max: Kobe, do you have any words of encouragement for young athletes or young people in general who might be hesitant in following their passion? Kobe: Yeah, you know you just gotta go for it. I remember when I was kind of thinking through whether or not to write Dear Basketball and to make it a short film, because you know people, Kobe can't write he's a basketball player he's not a writer and all that stuff and our daughter Gianna was like, well you always tell us to follow your dreams, so let's go!
