Born in the foothills of the scenic Himalayas, Nupur Pant has been brought up in the beautiful town of Nainital in Uttarakhand and has pursued an exciting musical career whilst completing her education(Bachelors from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University and Masters in Indian classical music from the University of Mumbai)with a thorough balance. She has also completed her ‘Visharad’ in Hindustani classical vocals from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow.
She is a full-time recording artist/performer/YouTuber and has garnered several accomplishments throughout her musical journey. She forayed her way to Bollywood debuting with Vishal & Shekhar by performing against Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan for the famous track ‘Manchala’ in the Bollywood hit movie ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ starring Parineeti Chopra & Siddharth Malhotra. Since then, there has been no looking back and she has sung for a lot of television shows such as Dol Dil Ek Jaan, Is Pyaar ko kya Naam du, Rangrasiya, Dil Se Dil Tak, and others. Her collaboration with Yuvraj Hans & Saurabh Kalsi for the film ‘Proper Patola’ in the song called ‘Ishqfehmiya’ opened her way to explore Punjabi folk music and her love for various cultures and languages made her collaborate and sing in various languages such as Hindi, English, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Spanish, and more to continuously engage with her audience,Nupur actively manages her youtube channel and creates covers of songs. She is known for creating mashups with English, Punjabi, and Hindi songs that have gained her millions of viewers from across the globe.
