Here's a local forecast I found with a jazzy number which I have no recollection of hearing on the local on the 8s: "Advanced Funk" by Maceo Parker. Some severe weather had moved through in the evening, producing ping-pong ball sized hail on the south side of the area. A Tornado Watch remained in effect... and this was the first weather bulletin issued for Ingham County since the weather bulletins page on the Intellistar was moved to the very front of every local forecast on May 18, 2009 (meaning it was the first thing when an Intellistar local forecast began).
