This is a compilation of RTM TV1 and TV2’s non-Malay minority news programmes evolved from 1978 until today.
Although this video focuses on news openings from minority languages of Malaysia, RTM TV2 also broadcasts news segments in Malay, formerly known as Berita Tengah Malam from 1995 until the late 1990s, using the Berita TV2 opening montage from 1995. Before that, TV2 were formerly relaying Berita Perdana newscast from TV1 until 1995. Suprisingly, RTM TV1 also produces Mandarin Chinese, Tamil and English news segments through Nasional @1 in 2009, but it didn’t quite go on air for long.
This is a revamped version of the following video, with some new look openings for 2020 and a alternative version of Berita Tamil in late 2019.
The following compilation video will be divided into three segments in order of Mandarin, Tamil and English/Malay.
Apologies for the lack of Tamil script, My laptop couldn't detect specifical Tamil script and fonts so I'm using the romanised version instead, thanks to Google Translate. I'm using Microsoft Paint for thumbnail picture editing.
