Having been involved with secret organizations on either side of the law, Walter is experienced in a wide array of clandestine operations. Some he can't talk about. Some he dares not mention. As a student of history and human nature Walter's quest for knowledge took him far beyond America's shores. He believes by combining tried and true policies of the past in a modern-day stratagem The Club can save America from the fate all other countries suffered-—each in turn, they rose to prominence and then, with the passing of time, ended up on the ash heap of suffering, misery, and heartbreak.
Walter wrote this after the conversation:
I mentioned George Washington’s “Secret Six” but didn’t expand on it.
They were and still are secret as we know, everyone involved took their identity to the grave.
Without them the American Revolution would have ended before it began.
All we know, for sure, six wives of officers of what would become the Continental Army volunteered to work in taverns frequented by British soldiers who liked to brag to colonists opposed to revolution.
The six got word to Washington of the Brit’s intention to capture and destroy weapons at an armory near Concord.
Should this have happened Washington’s army would have had nothing to fight with.
Methods deployed by the Secret Six are still used today by the FBI.
