Another popular release of 2019. although this one was also one of the most controversial. Seiko finally updated the SKX line by making a new SKX007, BUT with a catch. They placed it in the Seiko 5 sports line reducing the water resistance, removing the screw in crown and it is no longer an ISO certified diver's watch. The release included 27 variants, with this being the SRPD71 K1
The rest of the watch is truly an upgrade and it's a shame Seiko got us soo close to perfection and what we always asked for, just to ruin everything in the last minute.
The watch itself is stunning, but the problem is the fact it is based on one of the most legendary Seikos ever made.
