RND 1: remove marker, put the last unworked purl st on the LN, PLACE MARKER for beg of the Rnd on the right needle, SSSK (= 2 sts decreased, Double Decrease), *work in pattern until 1 st left before the next marker: move this marker 1 ST TO THE RIGHT and SSSK (= 2 sts decreased), repeat from * to end. RND 2: work in rib (knit knits, purl purls), leaving the last st unworked. RND 3: move marker for BOR 1 ST TO THE RIGHT, SSSK (= 2 sts decreased), work until 1 st left before the next marker: move this marker 1 ST TO THE RIGHT and SSSK (= 2 sts decreased), repeat from * to end. RND 4: as Rnd 2 Repeat RNDS 3-4, until 16-20 sts remain, bind off. Turn your hat inside out, block.
