What is the best weapon in Terraria? I'm showcasing some of the best melee weapons in Terraria with the Calamity mod. In this video, I show the Illustrious Knives. This is a great melee weapon to use to fight Supreme Calamitas, and it is even better than the Terraria 1.4 Journeys End Zenith sword!
This is a great weapon for a Terraria Death Mode boss rush (DM), Calamity boss rush, boss rush on Revengeance Mode, terraria no hit boss challenge, and Terraria boss speed runs. You don’t have to be Leviathan to make most terraria bosses look easy with this endgame calamity weapon! This weapon is very useful for a melee loadout / melee build / melee Class in a Calamity Playthrough or Calamity let’s play of Terraria.
The Illustrious Knives are a craftable post-Moon Lord developer weapon that can also be dropped by Supreme Calamitas while in Expert Mode. It has both a rogue and melee variant. When used, the weapon launches a large spread of slow moving green knives, similar to the Vampire Knives. The knives are destroyed upon contact with tiles, but will rapidly accelerate and home in on nearby enemies. All knives will inflict Holy Flames upon striking an enemy. When a knife hits an enemy, the player is healed by 1.5% of the damage dealt. This lifesteal is far stronger than either the Empyrean or Vampire Knives. The best modifier for the melee variant is Godly, and the best modifier for the rogue variant is Unreal.
This weapon is very useful for a melee loadout / terraria melee class build / melee class in Calamity. This could be part of the best Terraria Calamity melee class loadout at the stage you get it in Calamity. This is a great weapon to make your Melee Character OP in Terraria Calamity mod.
