THERE'S A WONDERFUL NAME: Salvation Army Choruses

The name of Jesus is a theme in many choruses. This one comes from the pen of Norman Clayton, an American gospel song writer best known for his song, "Now I Belong to Jesus." His practice was to write a melody first, then meditate on what words to set to the music. He memorized scripture and felt strongly that his songs should have a biblical basis. This one was included in the chorus section of our Salvation Army Song Book.
