On the 1st of January next year Youtube will be changing.
A new law set by the FTC/Coppa is going to be put in place that will force us creators to tell Youtube if our content is either made for kids or made for adults.
There is no middle ground. If your channel has content in it that children under the age of thirteen watch then you have to mark it as 'For Kids'.
This then means that those videos receive minimum revenue and it also means your channel gets the following restrictions:
No comments,
No community tab.
No live streams,
No end cards,
No info cards,
No notifications,
No channel logo overlay
This is going to affect hundreds of thousands of channels ranging from content for infants right up to channels like Pewdie Pie, Dennis, Dude perfect, preston, odd ones out, Jaiden animations and so on.
Around sixty to seventy percent of content on Youtube has something that appeals to children under the age of thirteen.

Even better, comment on their website and let them know your view. Please be polite and concise, ranting and raving won't help. If you need help writing a comment then ask your parents or a relative.
