The Special Operations Command or SOCOM at Fort Magsaysay, Neuva Ecija is home to the Scout Ranger Regiment, Light Reaction Regiment, and the Special Forces Regiment Airborne Unit among others. They are trained in unconventional warfare, special reconnaissance, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. The basic airborne course of the Special Forces Regiment trains the soldier to jump out of the aircraft and land safely in places that is otherwise unreachable via conventional methods. This is a 45 day course that start from the ground all the way up to the actual aircraft. Re-uploaded for better quality.
