Ffestiniog Railway - Victorian Weekend 2019

The Ffestiniog Railway held their 2019 Victorian Weekend between Friday October 4th and Sunday October 6th 2019. I visited on the Saturday and all shots were filmed in the woods around Tan Y Bwlch. Two Gravity Trains ran in addition to ‘Spooners Boat’ but due to a camera operator error (!) I missed the early morning one and had left for home by the time the second one ran. Locomotives in service on the Saturday were England twins, ‘Prince’ and ‘Palmerston’, Hunslets ‘Linda’ and ‘Blanche’, Double Fairlies ‘David Lloyd George’ and ‘Merddin Emrys’ , Single Fairlie ‘Taliesin’ and new build Manning Wardle ‘Lyd’. Thanks to all involved with the planning and operation of the Gala.
