Matthew Harvey Sanders, CEO of the Humanity 2.0 Foundation, hosts a conversation with Dr. Mariarosaria Taddeo, Deputy Director of the Digital Ethics Lab at the University of Oxford and Fr. Gregory Gresko, OSB, Professor of Theology at the The Pontifical University of Sant'Anselmo in Rome, on their hopes and fears about the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) as well as whose responsibility it should be to guide 4IR towards the 'common good'. They go on to discuss concerns regarding the knowledge gap between the engineers and technologists charged with developing the technologies and those entrusted to regulate them in the public interest. The important question of who companies should turn to when they have concerns about the ethics of what they're developing is discussed as well.
