Captain Pike and Spock have gone through many changes and variations throughout Star Trek's long history.
From the early days of Trek's creation with actors Jeffrey Hunter and Leonard Nimoy, to the tragic story of The Menagerie two parter with actor Sean Kenney as an injured Fleet Captain Pike, to a new timeline in the Kelvin universe films with actors Bruce Greenwood and Zachary Quinto, to a return to the prime timeline filled with new stories brought to life by Anson Mount and Ethan Peck.
One thing has always been clear, Pike and Spock's bond of friendship and love is eternal and transcends time and space. No matter past or future, young or old, or alternate timelines, they are destined to be at each other's side, watching each other's backs.
Fingers crossed that soon, we will see more of their adventures in a spin off show!!!
UPDATE: We will be seeing more of their adventures indeed in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds!!!
