Adding a central AC/heater/defrost to classic Mini Mayfair (1989), Part 1

Our discoveries and ideas as we attempt to add a central AC/heater/defrost to our classic Mini. We are planning to install a Vintage Air Gen II Mini system (https://www.vintageair.com/builder-series/?subcat1=Gen%20II%20Mini ). The dashboard will have a center binnacle with no room for hoses or ducting behind the gauges.
