LMS 48151 was the motive power for the Steam legs of todays Dalesman from Chester to Carlisle via the WCML and returning via the Settle Carlisle line, with Steam taking over from Carnforth to Carlisle and the return to Preston, we first see the 8F with thirteen on climbing Shap in wind and rain then on the return leg at Birkett Common, apologies for the sound at Birkett as the aux microphone wouldn't work.
