More than 30 years after its inception, Vohon Ukrainian Dance Ensemble's fiery passion is still burning bright both on stage and off. This is no small achievement, and in celebration of this significant 30-year milestone I was commissioned to create a new painting. Commemorated in this image are the costuming and music that celebrates what makes this anniversary and the ensemble so distinct. The imagery captures the growth and progress Vohon has seen in Ukrainian dance over the last three decades.
