The Rover 2S is an great choice for rental use in Diving Centres and for all divers who are looking for a regulator that is reliable and durable. The first stage is made from marine grade brass and has a sandblasted finish for increasing the scratch resistance.
The first stage has a non-balanced piston design which is lightweight, making it perfect for diving holidays. This first stage has a Dynamic Flow Control (DFC) system which minimises the pressure drop during inhalation, making it possible to use a simpler and more reliable second stage. The DFC does not require any type of manual adjustment for the second stage due to the consistency of the stable air flow, this applies even in extreme conditions. The first stage has one high pressure port which can be used to attach a pressure gauge or a wireless air transmitter, there is also four low pressure ports.
The second stage is mid size techno-polymer simple to use seconds stage, however this is still reliable on downstream demand thanks to the valve design which has a Fluid Dynamic Deflector. This is engineered to direct the airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece. This second stage also includes a Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) system which creates a swirling vortex with a low pressure area in the centre of the second stage which keeps the diagram down during inhalation. The second stage also has mesh grid design which reduces the pressure of water flowing onto the second stage diaphragm and minimises free-flow. This reliable and simple design reduces maintenance and makes it easy to use.
