I decided to adjust the shutter angle to match exposures between frame rates because I figured it would affect the appearance of the image in relation to noise the least.
At the extreme high shutter speeds, there may be a little bit of flicker visible, ignore that. Sorry.
I DID also try shooting this keeping the shutter angle consistent and adjusting the lighting, but I didn't like how the overall image changed between frame rates, so I stuck with this.
If I exposed specifically for Rec709, I probably would have actually increased the exposure a bit, but I wanted to keep things identical at each frame rate and I had already overexposed the log image.
-|| My Grading ||-
(All using Color Finale Pro)
On the log footage, I first pulled down highlights SLIGHTLY, added the ax2 normal LUT from Z Cam, added a LITTLE contrast with curves and finally pulled down blacks SLIGHTLY and increased saturation SLIGHTLY.
On the Rec709 footage, I pulled up the highlights a little with curves, then a bit more with the gain level
This is pretty much the same as I've graded footage from my other shoots with the E2, so it's nothing I wouldn't do on a normal shoot, and definitely nothing that should introduce more noise.
