In March 2019, BANDALOOP made its Malaysian debut on the walls of the beautiful Pullman Hotel for the 8th World Summit on Arts and Culture. A global gathering of leading cultural ambassadors, policy makers, and researchers, this annual event takes an in-depth look on how to actively lead change in the world.
BANDALOOP is honored to have been selected as the USA’s cultural diplomats, deepening friendships and alliances and helping to shift misconceptions to a common ground of shared values. In a rapidly evolving global landscape, these efforts are more important than ever.
Special thanks to The National Endowment for the Arts; their vision and efforts gave us the courage and capacity to spread our wings in Kuala Lumpur with ASK Dance Company and with so many other cultural delegates. It was an honor to work with the staff.
