Are you a real Christian according to scripture? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcmWh4Ny6wg&list=PL03EB625C9E667D5F&index=7 Order this week's free offer: "Claim God's Promises!" http://bit.ly/2Qj8zpo The Bible holds out to us a promise that is almost too astonishing to be true: the idea that the Creator of the universe—the Eternal One who reigns supreme over all of existence—is a being you can come to know personally. But how? How can a person come to really, really know God? How can you create an actual relationship with your Creator, experience His involvement in your life, and come to understand His will, purpose, and designs for you? Let’s get things going by asking you a personal question: Do you want to know God? To really know Him? Many claim to know God, but often deep down they know something is still missing. You may find the thought of an all-powerful God intimidating. Or you may wonder if your Creator is too distant or somehow above having a relationship with you. Or perhaps the thought of building a relationship with God like you would with any other person has never even crossed your mind. Yet the Bible describes very simply how important it is to have a truly deep and abiding relationship with the great God. As His Son Jesus Christ said to all of us in John 17 and verse 3, “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” This is eternal life. A relationship with the Creator of the cosmos is vital for your future eternal life—and it is just as important for peace of mind and fulfillment in your life today. But is it possible to know the Ever-Living One—to have a real relationship with Him? Yes, it is. Today on our program, we’re going to give you five steps that you can take to truly know God. Each of these steps can take you a step closer to a life-transforming relationship with the very One who gives you life and breath. The first step you can take to know God is to meditate on His creation. The entire world around you is the work of the Master Creator of all things, and He tells us in His Word that we can come to know Him better by spending time soaking in His creation and meditating on what it teaches us about Him. And it can teach us much—though many almost seem to avoid the obvious witness that the creation provides. The Apostle Paul tells us in Romans chapter 1, starting in verse 18: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” The Bible tells us that many of God’s invisible attributes can be clearly seen and understood by the things that are made, including His eternal power and Godhead—His divinity and deity. In this, Paul agreed with the ancient King David who wrote in Psalm 19 and verse 1, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork.” Now, of course, many of you may spend much of your day in an office like I do. But if you and I want to truly know God, we must take the step of spending some time with His creation—experiencing the works of His hands—and meditating on what they may tell us of the God who made them. Take a walk at a local park. Get outside and enjoy the sky, the clouds, the trees, and other plants. Find your way to a safe place where you can observe a dark night sky unspoiled by city lights and gaze at the vast universe above your head—stars from horizon to horizon, and the beautiful Milky Way winding its way through that ocean of lights. Or look around you at the beautiful and exotic variety of complex living things with whom we share this planet. Ponder the majesty of mountains, or stand on the beach and feel the spray of the vast ocean. #tomorrowsworld #TWTelecast #truthfromthebible
