I first began practicing Underwater Handstand Exercises (as a Christian woman) in 2018 as a part of my self care routine explained on my blog at https://onlinediscipleshipforwomen.com/self-care I started at only 3 seconds and got to 25 seconds, slowly, but then I was rear-ended in a car accident, had a concussion, and was really sick. Handstand practice helped with my car accident recovery through consistent self-care to improve my physical balance and brain functioning. Practicing underwater handstands improved my balance without any pressure on my injured body. Whatever your mind can conceive, you CAN achieve! I believe that all things are possible through Christ!

Here’s my 75-second long underwater handstand to show you that YOU can do anything your mind believes. Learning how to balance my body was a challenge. You must believe and take consistent action in faith!
How to do a handstand was something I started wondering just last year, in 2018, when my 50+-year-old neighbor showed me how she can stand on her hands under water. I was shocked!!! It seemed undoable. BUT! She persuaded me that I, too, could do it!!!! What? Ok, I began exploring how to learn handstand and it was very, very, very tough. I wasn't able to get my butt up. I didn't feel my legs or feet. I was scared so much. And I had no idea how to hold my breath for long. The longest handstand I could do was 3 seconds last year. BUT! I accepted my neighbor's handstand challenge and started practicing every day. I got up to 35 seconds when on 8-24-2018 I was hit by a car and suffered a concussion and injuries. Recovery took a while... BUT! I believed that one day I would go back to my handstand training. This year, I re-started my handstand workout last week at 30 seconds. That's when one of my Instagram followers issued me a new handstand challenge. I was challenged to do a 60-second long handstand underwater... I had no idea how BUT! I believed I could and I did! Here's my 75-second long handstand walk and handstand.
