The Four Major Systems in Numerology A lot of years ago Numerological knowledge varied according to the region, culture and time of the history. As people were not well connected to each other, the intermingling of ideas was less and so, each system and methodology varied. The original roots of Numerology still remain unknown to this date, but many people believe the Vedic and the Chaldean methods to be the oldest. The interesting fact is; both methods are very similar as far as the technique is concerned. Many numerologists also consider the Chinese numerology to be the oldest.
