Carrot Reveal Cascade and Sugar Snax grown in a 10 inch pot

My granddaughter Caitlín - Miss Sprinkles - sowed some carrot seeds in August 2018. In October 2018 she decided it was time to harvest them. They were grown in a 10 inch pot. One half had Cascade carrots the other half of the pot had Sugar Snax carrots. They were sown in sifted home made compost with added perlite and the pot was then left standing on a bed of well aged horse manure. It was pretty much left untouched for the whole 10 weeks. Rain provided most of the watering. How did they grow? And did Miss Sprinkles manage to grow a decent crop from a 10 inch pot? (Hint: at 4 years old it turns out she is better at container gardening than I am!!!!)
