Probably one of the most important questions Ana Kasparian had for Ursula von der Leyen during their interview. “ISIS tried to commit genocide with the Yazidis,” says von der Leyen, pointing out the responsibility to protect: “The Taliban as well as the Afghan people are tired of this conflict. We have to sit at the table and find a solution. This is the only solution for conflicts, wherever you are in the world.”
