You want a nice clean shaven head, but if you’re like me, you wish you could cut down on the amount of time it takes to actually shave your head.
Traditional methods are okay, but what if I told you there is a better why.
That way, is the omnishaver.
The Omnishaver is a puck like razor designed so you never have to rinse the blades, which is probably the most time consuming part of shaving.
It features two 5 bladed head in opposite direct, so you barely have to lift it from you head once you start.
It also moves around freely on 3 axis to hit all the spots, even on you guys with those lumpy domes.
So why do I say the omnishave is a better way, because I put it to the test. I started trying to see how fast I could shave my head with other razors. With my safety razor, by best time was 7 minutes 42 seconds.
With my gillette fusion, my best time was 4 minutes, 19 seconds.
Now it was time to try out the omnishaver for the very first time. The instructions said it works best with a slippery head, so I opted for shave oil. To use the omnishaver, you use a back and forth motion covering about 3 inches or so at a time, then move on to the next section.
Breaking the habit of rising tooks some getting used to, but man the hair was flying off my head. If you look at the video closely you can see the shaved hair looks like dust. Overall it did a fantastic job. I will mention, I do not thing shave oil is the best option for the omnishaver because the oil is a little too thick, actually it works much better with plan old conditioner, but I’ll get to that in a second. My very first time using the omnishaver took me only 1 minute and 40 seconds.
It did an excellent job, a close shave, no cuts, no irritation.
I was actually excited to try it out again, and this time I wanted to test it out in the shower, using plain old conditioner.
Using it in the shower with conditioner was even better. My time was cut down to 49 seconds.
Now there is one slight disadvantage, you will still need a blade to get around your ears, but this is no big deal at all.
With the omnishaver, by head was as smooth as a baby’s butt. No razor burn or bumps and no irritation.
