There Were 6 Different 'Stooges' That Played As The Three Stooges 3. Here are the 6 Stooges: Moe Howard, Shemp Howard, Larry Fine, Curly Howard, Joe Besser, 'Curly Joe' Derita. Moe was the leader of the Stooges, Larry and Shemp were part of the original 3 Stooges. Curly Howard replaced Shemp for awhile, he died and Shemp came back. Joe Besser was number 5 and Joe Derita the sixth Stooge. 'Long Live The Stooges' ! This is all my original research and is under the copyright protection of US Law.
