Building a Stone and Wood Bridge Bench

Written By Benham Design Concepts on Thursday, Dec 20, 2018 | 10:30 AM

For this build, I combined several elements from different areas of life into one cohesive design. A bench with an organic stone as one leg elegantly transitions to a refined joinery and bent lamination emulating a bridge. The stone is a granite boulder. The top and leg are African Mahogany, and the Arch, cross braces, and wedges are walnuts. The whole thing is finished with a satin wipe-on poly.
